Chateau Gazin

Pomerol

Location: Chateau Gazin is located in Pomerol, adjacent to Chateau Petrus and Chateau l'Évangile

Vineyards: 64 acres from which just over 8,000 cases may be produced.

Grape Varieties: 90% Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon 7%, Cabernet Franc 3%

Vinification & Aging: After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels before bottling and release. The wine is fined with egg whites in the traditional manner. It is slightly filtered in some vintages.

History: The vineyards were once part of the Knights of Saint-Jean of Jerusalem property.
